- SCANDINAVIAN JOURNAL OF HISTORY is published under the auspices of the Historical Associations of Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Most authors are Scandinavian, and although they are welcome to submit articles in Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, or Swedish, all materials are translated into English before publication. Articles cover topics of Scandinavian history from Medieval times to the present. Topics have included Sweden and EU membership, nuclear weapons in Greenland, and missionary activity in early Medieval Norway. Students and instructors of European studies will value this journal (Katz).
