- PSYCHOLOGY AND AGING is a research journal from the American Psychological Association which covers all aspects of adult development and aging. There is a strong emphasis on original research and this is borne out by the published articles. Authors are primarily academic psychologists. Research topics have included narrative comprehension and aging, relationships between aging and cognitive efficiency, and older adults with insomnia. Some articles describe and report on research in cultures outside North America, such as economic stresses and depression in elderly Chinese (Katz).
